Binnacle House - Bike Donations
Jody at the Binnacle House was delighted to receive the 4 bikes donated by Yvette, Ken, & Henry S. Riding a bike is a privilege the boys must earn. They can use it to get to their job or for the shear enjoyment of a bike ride. When they leave Binnacle House, if there are enough bikes, a boy can take his bike with him.
Please keep in mind when you have out grown the use of that large boy/men’s bike, Binnacle House will always be able to give that bike a new life. A special “thank you” to Bob and Ginny for the transportation assistance.
Family Promise of Hunterdon County
The overwhelming response to our April Showers mission for Family Promise has been gratefully accepted, with heartfelt thanks to our congregation.
February 2019 Feel the Love “Food Pantry Month”
We dropped off over 50 bags to the Flemington and Hillsborough food pantries and $135 in ShopRite gift cards.
To repeat the words said to us in the February Belltower from James….
“as members and friends of Clover Hill Reformed Church, we matter a great deal. Our contributions of time, treasures, and talents can make a huge impact on our church family and our community.” “Each of us makes a difference, each of us matters. Not one of us is forgotten.”
YOU matter! We ALL do, and together we accomplish great things.
“Adopt a Family” Christmas Mission
Our Christmas mission focused on The Family Promise organization in Flemington. They are the only homeless shelter for children and families in Hunterdon County. Their mission statement is to end homelessness, by mobilizing the community to guide homeless families and individuals to self-sufficiency and permanent housing, with compassionate care, services and professional support.
And CHRC helped with this mission. Your never ending giving provided all of these wrapped Christmas gifts for 2 adopted families. WOW, so overwhelming. Thank you all.
